"theory" is properly carried on in close and continuous relation
with substantive problems.... The character of these problems
limits and suggests the methods and conceptions that are used
and how they are used

In this part of the course we will demonstrates the value and rewards of comparative research. We will become familiar with major works in the fields of comparative politics, comparative political economy and comparative public policy.
